Kevin Hart will host an upcoming episode of NBC's SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, featuring musical guests Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Hart will be promoting his BET comedy series The Real Husbands of Holllywood, which spoofs the Real Housewives franchise. The episode will air March 2 at 11.30pm ET on NBC.
Hart recently hosted the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards and will make his hosting debut on the long-running NBC sketch comedy series.
Hart got his first real break in 2001 when he was cast by Judd Apatow for a recurring role on the TV series Undeclared. He has appeared in the films Paper Soldiers, Scary Movie 3, and Along Came Polly. His comedic reputation began to grow with the release of his first stand-up album I'm a Grown Little Man in 2009. This was followed by Seriously Funny in 2010, and in 2011 Laugh at My Pain in 2011, most arguably his most successful stand-up act so far.
He will soon be seen opposite Seth Rogen, James Franco and Jay Baruchel in This is the End, opening in June.
