Hobo Junction Brings HOBO ROBO 5: HOBOS ACROSS AMERICA! to Strawdog Theatre, 10/22-24

Hobo Junction is back just in time to wreck the election with HOBO ROBO 5: HOBOS ACROSS AMERICA!, featuring nine new comedies from all over this great nation, directed by nine Chicago-land directors. The three-night comedy competition takes place at 8PM on October 22nd, 23rd, 24th at Strawdog Theatre's Hugen Hall. $7 at the door.

As always, Hobo Junction has sent out for 10 minute comedy shorts, this time with a PATRIOTISM AND/OR POLITICS theme and got back more than FOUR hundred national and international comedies. Hobo then hand picked nine directors from Chicago to choose their favorite to produce. They will bring their 10-minute comedies to Strawdog Theatre's HUGEN HALL and pit them against each other for three nights of unbridled competition.

The winning short will be decided by audience vote and the winning director and writer will each receive $100 from the Junction treasury.

And it's all hosted by the legendary Chicago "Men of Action": Dan Krall and Josh Zagoren.
