Detroit's Geechy Guy to Make City Theatre Debut, 4/19-20

Geechy Guy, originally from Rochester Hills, will be bringing his off-beat brand of cerebral one-liners and hilarious comedy to the City Theatre, located inside of Hockeytown Café, in his new show "Geechy and The Guys" for three performances on Friday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Also appearing on the show will be comedian Gary Thison and some surprise guests.

Tickets ($20) go on sale Saturday, March 16 at 10 a.m. at OlympiaEntertainment.com, the Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge) at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com. Geechy's career has found him headlining comedy clubs across the continent, making numerous appearances on such shows as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, America's Got Talent and opening for some of the biggest acts in the entertainment industry. He also stars in the Las Vegas hit The Dirty Joke Show.

Gary Thison headlines comedy shows and performs at corporate events across the nation. Thison previously hosted the cable comedy talk show Some Semblance of Sanity for three years, which showcased interviews with other notable Detroiter's including Tim Allen, Dave Coulier and Mitch Albom. He was also the originator of HBOs Comic Relief.
